North Shore, MA - Local Trails Work

Dave and I both found the outdoors through mountain biking. While the sport has changed, and the bikes sure have changed - the desire to be pedaling through the woods on singletrack has not. Our local trails include land managed by the state (primarily through the Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR)), and a number of local trail steward groups, like Essex County Trails Association (ECTA), Boxford Trails Association / Boxford Outdoor Land Trust (BTA / BOLT), New England Mountain Bike Association (NEMBA), and many, many others.

From clearing downed trees to repairing erosion spots, to re-routing sections of trail that aren't sustainable and / or blown out, to simple brush clearing and weed whacking - you are likely to find us out and about on many of trails in our backyard(s).
